We had another amazing day at Wickiup Reservoir! Even though the wind made fishing a bit tricky at times, we still caught many fish, including beauties up to eighteen inches. Most of our catches were around 15 inches, and we caught two nice Rainbow trout, which is great! We focused on the top 15 feet of water in the morning before sunrise, and our secret weapon was the Green Glow Gobbler Full Throttle Bug paired with a lured moon glow dodger.

We also had great success with pink and orange hoochies, using 4.5-inch lured dodgers with a mirror ball finish—those were really killing it! Just a heads up, though: we lost about twice as many fish as we got into the boat! I’m unsure what’s happening there, but that’s fishing for you, right?
