Fishing Report Lake Billy Chinook 1-17-2025

Today was another beautiful day for fishing at BillyChinook , although it didn’t start out well. After a couple of weeks off due to snow and rain, we made it to the lake we launched. The boat, the kicker motor, took a frustrating two minutes to start and ran rough for about five minutes before settling down. The big motor started fine, but my Minnkota trolling motor had an issue; everything seemed fine, but the prop wouldn’t turn and spun freely by hand. Is there anyone nearby who can fix it? On the bright side, the Kokanee fishing was fantastic, with 20 fish caught at 50′ deep using Lured Dodgers and Lured full Throttle Bugs in Blue Balls and Bloody Decks colors.
