WOW — what an incredible fall fishing season! 
We’ve been spending our days out on Lake Billy Chinook, and the Kokanee fishing has been absolutely stellar. Huge schools of fish are lighting up the Humminbird screen — it’s been limited all around!
Most of our success has come fishing down by the dam, with fish sitting around 35 45′. We’ve been running lure Dodgers with Full Throttle Bugs and Arrow Flash Dodgers, and the top producers lately have been the Bloody Decks and my personal favorite — the Blue Balls. Add in a Poulsen Cascade white and pink Whirlee-Gig, and it’s game on!
The Kokanee have been hitting best at a faster troll — anywhere from 1.2 to 1.8 mph — and the quality has been fantastic. Bright, clean fish in the 10–14″ range, with no copepods to be seen.
